"Hungry" is no way to spend childhood

Every day The Salvation Army helps cure hunger by providing nutritious meals to neighbors in need.

The Salvation Army – Continuous Service since 1886

Every day, 46 million Americans, including 1 in 6 children face hunger. Our food service programs provide nutritious and delicious food to fight hunger in Albany year-round.

Food + Care = Hope

The Salvation Army is very loving and caring. When I'm feeling down I always can depend on them for emotional support with their kind words.

How we help cure hunger

The Salvation Army in Albany has a robust food pantry as well as a mobile canteen that hits the streets to deliver hot meals to those in the most need.

Food Pantry

Our Food Pantry serves individuals and families in Albany County. Persons can access the food pantry 1x per month, with emergency additional visits as necessary. In addition, bread and produce are available daily.

Program Hours:

Mondays & Wednesdays 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. or by appointment.

Food Pantry Delivery
