YOUTH: The Future AND The Present

We believe that youth are not just the future, they are the present! We believe that all children should have access to safe, fun, and motivating recreation activities.

The Salvation Army Helps

When Frank gained custody of his two rambunctious grandchildren this year, he wasn’t sure what to do. They needed quality after school programming that compelled them to grow. That’s when he reached out to The Salvation Army. His grandchildren are enrolled in the Red Shield Chess Club and the Youth Open Gym night, and Frank is meeting with the Corps Officer to discuss strategies for coping with his new responsibility.

How we help empower youth
