The Salvation Army provides spiritual services to anyone God brings across our path.
The Salvation Army is an inclusive, come-as-you-are Christian church that desires to love God, and love the community.
“Life is confusing. Why am I here? What is my purpose? I struggled with these ideas for most of my life. That was, until I met the Captains at The Salvation Army. The loved me for me. They didn’t judge me because I didn’t look like a typical church goer. They accepted me, flaws and fall. And I supposed because all people have flaws. But all people are loved by God. And that’s more important. The Salvation Army is more than me church. They are my family.” E.E.
The Salvation Army’s beginning in 1865 was a result of an itinerant preacher, William Booth, and his desire to reach the last, the least, and the lost. He and his wife, Catherine, needed a place where all people felt welcomed. Thus, started The Salvation Army. A place for hope and healing. Catherine Booth was instrumental in women’s rights, becoming one of the early female preachers. We share God’s love today by welcoming all people, no matter who you are, or where you came from. Our services are bilingual (Spanish and English).
