For over 25 years, The Salvation Army in Buffalo has been committed to ending the cycle of domestic violence. This unique program provides counseling for men who abuse their loved ones by helping them to understand battering behavior and to learn healthy alternatives to violence. It has expanded to provide group counseling to address stress and anger issues as well. The program offers a 24 hour on-call telephone helpline for clients.
Workshops for public educators and service providers are also available to help increase community understanding of domestic violence, stress, and anger management.
