Emergency Family Assistance at Buffalo Area Services
The Emergency Family Assistance program at The Salvation Army at Buffalo serves as a central intake for thousands of clients every year. The program’s primary focus is to provide food to hungry families and individuals. With the help of our local partnerships, we can provide nutritious meals to our neighbors in need.
“Tim was referred to the Emergency Family Assistance (EFA) program after a colleague of his contacted our Director of Development at The Salvation Army. It was learned that Tim had fallen into hard times and needed clothing and food assistance for himself and his two daughters. EFA provided Tim with a bag of groceries, as well as a $100 clothing voucher to shop at one of the nearby Salvation Army Family Stores. Our EFA Director also informed Tim that if he needed additional help, to please call us.”
