After School Program

Kids participate in power hour, completing their homework guided by our counselors. After completing their homework they engage in games and activities that help them to continue to engage socially and physically. Snack is provided in a socially distanced environment.

Americorps State

Prayer Service and Bible Study meetings are designed to be both spiritual and educational. This program offers weekly time to study God’s Word and learn practical applications for the Bible’s teachings. It also includes a time of spiritual encouragement through prayer for the needs of individuals, families, the church, and communities.

By supplying free fresh produce, canned goods, and healthy frozen items, our food pantries provide valuable meal supplementation while helping those in need to maintain their independence and dignity.

Foster Grandparent Program

The Foster Grandparent Program enables volunteers, aged 60 and over, to remain physically and mentally active by partnering with children with special needs to achieve improved physical, mental, emotional and social development.

Kinship Legal Guardianship Program

Kinship Legal Guardianship Program aids the kinship caregiver in processing the necessary petitions and documents in order to become Legal Guardians at minimal or no cost to the caregiver.

Kinship Wrap-Around Services

Kinship Wrap-Around Services administers and delivers one-time interventions that are not available from any other source including furniture, rental assistance, legal services, respite care, transportation and other limited services necessary to maintain a safe, stable home environment for low-income kinship caregivers and their related child(ren).

The Salvation Army introduces people of all ages to the beauty of the arts, helping them to use their talents to glorify God and bless those around them. From playing in The Salvation Army band to singing in the choir to leading Sunday worship and spreading Christmas cheer at one of our Red Kettles, we offer numerous performance opportunities and community programs for aspiring artists.

Senior Companion Program

Volunteers in the Senior Companion Program provide assistance and friendship to elderly individuals who are homebound and, generally, living alone. These volunteers must be age 60 or older and meet income eligibility requirements.

Soldiership Classes

This resource is an 11-lesson in-depth study of Salvationist doctrine and practice. This senior soldier preparation course contains five lessons on doctrine, three on Christian lifestyle and three on Salvationism.

Virtual Assistance Program (CARES)

Students will participate in assisted virtual school and other activities consistent with their virtual school schedule. Breakfast and lunch is provided in a socially distanced environment.

Worship Services and Sunday School

Traditional Sunday morning worship combines music, Scripture, prayer, and preaching to honor God and serve as a time of reverence and reflection on the Holiness of God. The mission of Sunday school is to develop Christ-like character in ordinary people through time-tested spiritual disciplines of Scripture study and memorization, prayer, and activities.
