Adult Activities

Through programs designed to address the mind, body, and soul, we meet the needs of adults of all ages.

Our adult programs provide opportunities for fellowship and spiritual development.

These activities are designed with men and women in mind. They vary from indoors activities in our facility to outdoors activities at other venues, including our beautiful Camp Tecumseh in Pittstown, NJ. Everyone from all walks of like is welcome to join these groups and participate in all events. Although these are free programs, participants are encouraged to give a free will offering to offset the costs of running these programs.

Economic insecurity affects adults daily.

An estimated 4 out of 5 older adults struggle with near-poverty, joblessness or dependence on welfare. While much of social service works highlights families and children, the “invisible poor”, the adult and senior populations within communities are often forgotten.

Adult Activities:

Women's Ministries

The Salvation Army Women’s Ministries is an International Fellowship of Women of all ages. It was inaugurated in 1907 to provide a wide range of activities based on these fourfold aims: Worship, Education, Fellowship, and Service.

Open to all females 18+.

Tuesday 5 PM – 7 PM

Men's Fellowship

This program provides men with an opportunity for Christian fellowship where they can grow together in their devotion to Christ.

Open to all males 18+.

Thursday 5 PM – 7 PM

Senior Services

Improve the well-being of seniors through varied indoors and outdoors activities.

Designed for older adults ages 50+.

Thursday 10 AM – 1 PM, Friday 10 AM – 1 PM
