The Salvation Army ensures kids are equipped with the tools they need to succeed, which starts by meeting their basic needs.
We take a holistic approach by providing programs with life-long impact such as character-building programs, summer camp opportunities, music education, after-school programs, and more. At the core of all that we do for youth, fighting for them is synonymous with sharing God's love and grace.
Our youth activities are designed for school-age children ages 6 to 17 in our service area. Currently, all youth activities are suspended due to Covid-19 until Spring 2021. Please visit us often for updates. We will post them as they become available.
Our License after-school program serves children ages 6 to 13. We welcome your school-age children in a welcoming and safe Christian environment. Children are encouraged to participate in all activities, including recreational and musical. Our personnel, including volunteers, enjoy working with children and make it their utmost priority to meet every student’s needs while in our care. Please call (973) 672-0262 Ext. 17 to pre-register your children for Spring 2021.

We purpose to surround the participants with a group of music and arts instructors and professionals from diverse backgrounds. In so doing, the participants will benefit from many aspects of music and arts, including praise and worship. To pre-register you, children, please call (973) 672-0262 Ext. 11

1. To provide an atmosphere in which spiritual growth can occur through Bible study, doctrine study, prayer fellowship, tithing, service, witnessing, spiritual counsel of corps officers, and locals.
2. Provide opportunities for the development of leadership skills.
3. Provide exposure to Salvation Army history, policies, and procedures.
4. Provide training and opportunities to develop soul-winning experiences through visitation campaigns, outdoor evangelism, witnessing, and eventually discipling other corps young people.
