Greater Pittsburgh Advisory Board Spotlight: Kevin Colosimo
Kevin Colosimo, a partner at Frost Brown Todd law firm, was amazed at the depth and breadth of The Salvation Army Western PA’s services as he was recruited to serve as a member of the Greater Pittsburgh Advisory Board.
“I'm inspired by The Salvation Army's unwavering commitment to serve others no matter what the circumstances,” Kevin said. “Whether it's a natural disaster, fire, economic strife, illness or simply poverty, the Army is there to care for those in need and provide hope. It's that constancy that inspires me most.”
Now serving as Chairperson of The Salvation Army Western PA’s Greater Pittsburgh Advisory Board, he was first brought on by Jim Roddey, who has also served as chairperson.
With a busy schedule as a practicing lawyer in Pittsburgh, Kevin is grateful for his success and eager to pay it forward by supporting The Salvation Army.
“I'm very fortunate to be happy, healthy and economically secure; it's not something I take for granted,” he said. “I believe that helping others is the right thing to do, and I know that The Salvation Army is the right way to do it.”
He is also proud to continue The Salvation Army’s long legacy of helping those in the most need in our region.
“Western Pennsylvania is very fortunate to have a long and storied history of philanthropy and compassion,” he said. “The Salvation Army has an equally long history of service and caring for those in need in our communities. Together, we are ‘Doing the Most Good.’”
Kevin lives in the Pine-Richland/Wexford area and practices law at Frost Brown Todd’s Pittsburgh office. His practice involves trial work and dispute resolution, and he also serves as a mediator and arbitrator as well. He is a member of the PA Bar Association, the Allegheny County Bar Association, the Erie County Bar Association and several others. He is also actively involved with the United Way of SWPA Tocqueville Committee.
