Local parents and children will find support and smiles on Saturday, Aug. 14 during The Salvation Army’s Back-to-School Bash event, providing backpacks, gently used clothes, shoes, and more.
Advanced registration is required by calling 412-207-2127. Student haircuts are available onsite along with food, fun, and a bounce house! Attendees who are not vaccinated are encouraged to wear a mask and practice social distancing whenever possible.
Thanks to the generosity of our sponsor, First National Bank, the largest subsidiary of F.N.B. Corporation, students will be provided with the back-to-school support they need to be successful this year.
Why
Many families throughout our community are facing increased financial challenges as the economic recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic continues. The Salvation Army’s Back-to-School Bash will offer much-needed support in the form of backpacks, clothes, shoes, and more. Families have the chance to get out, have some fun, enjoy a bounce house, all while receiving the back-to-school support they need this year.
