Busy Beaver Supports The Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign: Hope Marches On with Register Round-Up
PITTSBURGH, Pa. (December 1, 2021) – Busy Beaver Building Centers, Inc. is partnering with The Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign: Hope Marches On through a register round-up campaign during the entire month of December.
The register round-up campaign will occur at participating stores in Western PA, Northeast Ohio, and West Virginia. Throughout the month, customers will have the chance to round-up their in-store purchases, with The Salvation Army receiving the total of the rounded-up dollars and cents during the Red Kettle Campaign, which raises funds for critical year-round services.
In addition, each customer will also have the chance to purchase a “hang-a-kettle” and can donate loose change at counter kettles in the stores as well.
“We are proud to partner with The Salvation Army during this campaign as we know that many families and individuals continue to struggle with the ongoing effects of the pandemic, and the best part is that all funds raised remain right in the local community,” said Amanda Nestor, Marketing Coordinator at Busy Beaver Building Centers, Inc.
The Salvation Army’s Annual Red Kettle Campaign supports families and individuals in need in YOUR community with:
- Utility, Rental, and Food Assistance
- Clothing and Other Basic Needs
- Summer Camp Programs for Youth and Seniors
- Holiday Meals and Christmas Gifts for Children
“We are incredibly grateful for generous partners and donors like Busy Beaver Building Centers, Inc. as this year, the increased needs of our communities remain present,” said Major Gregory Hartshorn, Divisional Commander for The Salvation Army Western PA. “The donations raised through Busy Beaver’s round up campaign will make sure families have food on their tables for their holiday meals, will ensure that a mother can heat her home for her children through the cold winter, and will give Busy Beaver customers the opportunity to help these families have brighter holidays.”
