What
The Salvation Army North Boroughs Worship and Service Center is hosting a “Dance for the World” fundraiser and pow wow, bringing the community together for a cultural celebration of unity. The Dance for the World will include cultural education & demonstration, delicious food, free children’s activities, arts & craft vendors, and the opportunity to win prizes.
When
Saturday, September 11 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Dancing begins at Noon

Why
All proceeds of this gathering support The Salvation Army’s World Services. This branch of the organization deals in social justice issues: human trafficking, poverty, starvation & emergency disaster services. This event works in support of the Murdered and Missing Indigenous Women effort as we fight the epidemic levels of human trafficking that have swept the world.
