Double Your Donations to The Salvation Army in DuBois
DuBois, Pa. (November 20, 2024) – Thanks to the generosity of longtime supporter and business leader David Stern and his family, every donation made to The Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign in DuBois between Friday, November 29 and Tuesday, December 24, 2024, will be matched up to $25,000. Red Kettle donations ensure The Salvation Army can continue critical feeding programs, rent and utility assistance, seasonal assistance as well as youth empowerment and spiritual programs for families and individuals in DuBois, Pennsylvania and surrounding areas.
"By joining forces with The Salvation Army, we can create a brighter future for our community,” David Stern, former CEO of Paris Companies, said. “I encourage those who are able to join me in supporting these vital programs to ensure The Salvation Army can be a trusted source of help and hope for generations to come.”
Gifts to the annual Red Kettle Campaign remain in the community where they are given and make it possible for The Salvation Army to deliver life-changing programs and services throughout the year. The Salvation Army’s goal is to raise $75,000 locally in DuBois, Pennsylvania this season.
“Through this generous partnership even a small gift can have a big impact, long after the Christmas season,” Captain Andrew Spooner, Commanding Officer of The Salvation Army DuBois said. “Thank you to the Stern family for continuing to support our essential programs including rent/utility assistance for those facing hardships, our feeding programs and weekly supper club, as well as our support and ministry to those of all ages.”
