Echelon Pittsburgh enjoys some wags and laughs at Pet Fest 2024
Pet Fest 2024 was truly purr-fect! Hundreds of pet-lovers across the city came together to enjoy a variety of pet-themed photo opportunities, shows, and vendors. Spotlighted activities included caricature paintings of furry friends, dog training tutorials, and pet wellness info sessions. Pets of all kinds played with new friends, snagged some treats, and smiled for the camera.
This marked the second year of The Salvation Army’s partnership with broadcast platform Audacy Pittsburgh. Our team had a tail-wagging time taking pictures of Santa posed alongside his fluffy pals all dressed up for the holiday season! Some will definitely be getting coal this year. Stationed at the photo opportunity was the signature Red Kettle where attendees could join our mission to “Do the Most Good” around the holiday season. Other volunteers ran the admissions counter and greeted each attendee. All proceeds from same-day ticket purchases were donated to The Salvation Army as part of our international Red Kettle Campaign.
Echelon Pittsburgh led the charge in representing The Salvation Army at Pet Fest. Echelon seeks to mobilize the next generation for The Salvation Army by providing opportunities for young professionals to engage through fellowship and networking, donations and fundraising, and service and volunteering. Each volunteer was blessed to share the mission of The Salvation Army with the community this past weekend.
If you or someone you know may be interested in joining a service-oriented, collaborative network of young professionals, feel free to contact Echelon Pittsburgh and learn of any upcoming events HERE.
Thank you to everyone who donated early to the Red Kettle Campaign and visited our Santa photo stop! If you missed the chance to support us at Pet Fest, you can click HERE to make an impact this Christmas season.
