ELLWOOD Group Matching Donations Made to Local Red Kettle Campaign
ELLWOOD CITY, Pa. (November 17, 2023) – The Salvation Army Ellwood City Service Unit is proud to announce a local partnership with the ELLWOOD Group, a locally-owned manufacturer based in Ellwood City. Every donation made to the Red Kettle Campaign in Ellwood City before December 23, 2023, will be matched by the ELLWOOD Group, up to $20,000. Red Kettle donations ensure The Salvation Army can continue to operate feeding programs including holiday meals, provide rental/utility assistance to neighbors in need and offer youth programs and other essential services.
“It is important to remember when you donate to The Salvation Army, your money stays here in our community and helps to provide vital assistance to those in need,” said David Barensfeld, ELLWOOD Group Chairman of the Board. “When you donate to the Red Kettle Campaign, you're not just giving to an organization; you're making a real difference in the lives of our neighbors. Please join us in making a difference this holiday season.”
Funds raised through the annual Red Kettle Campaign remain in the community where it was given, making it possible for The Salvation Army to deliver life-changing programs and services throughout the year. The Salvation Army’s goal is to raise $14,000 in Ellwood City, Pennsylvania this season. Salvation Army service units are run by community volunteers who give of their time and talents to make a difference in the community all year long.
Donations to the Red Kettle Campaign, can be made in person at a Red Kettle location or virtually by visiting, https://salarmy.us/EllwoodKettle.
