EZ Storage Supports The Salvation Army Western PA Division Red Kettle Campaign: Hope Marches On
PITTSBURGH, Pa. (October 28, 2021) – EZ Storage is supporting families and individuals in need this Christmas season by continuing its partnership with The Salvation Army Western PA Division’s Red Kettle Campaign: Hope Marches On.
For every new storage lease the company receives from November 1 until the end of December, $10 will be donated back to The Salvation Army Western PA Division’s Red Kettle Campaign, which provides emergency feeding programs and other services.
“We know that as many families continue to grapple with the financial impacts of pandemic poverty that every donation makes a difference, and we are proud to again partner with The Salvation Army this year to make sure those individuals receive the support they need,” said Megan L. Chuderewicz, Sales and Marketing Manager at EZ Storage.
The Salvation Army’s Annual Red Kettle Campaign supports families and individuals in need in YOUR community with:
Utility, Rental, and Food Assistance
Clothing and Other Basic Needs
Low to No Cost Youth and Senior Programming
Holiday Meals and Christmas Gifts for Children
“We are incredibly grateful for generous partners and donors like EZ Storage, as this year the increased needs of our communities remain present during the pandemic,” said Major Gregory Hartshorn, Divisional Commander for The Salvation Army Western PA. “The donations raised through EZ Storage will make sure families have food on their tables for their holiday meals, will ensure that a mother can heat her home for her children through the cold winter, and will help us to fulfill our mission of doing the most good.”
During Fiscal Year 2020, the Western PA Division:
Served 590,318 men, women, and children
Provided 710,186 meals
Provided 381,840 grocery orders
Assisted in 732 Housing/rent assistance cases
Assisted in 2,375 Utility assistance cases
Provided 46,290 nights of shelter and stable housing
Provided 10,097 Educational Programs
