EZ Storage Supports The Salvation Army WPA Red Kettle Campaign: Rescue Christmas
PITTSBURGH, Pa. (November 10, 2020) – EZ Storage is supporting families and individuals in need this Christmas season by continuing its partnership with The Salvation Army Western PA Division’s Red Kettle Campaign: Rescue Christmas.
For every new storage lease the company receives from now until the end of December, $10 will be donated back to The Salvation Army Western PA Division’s Red Kettle Campaign, which provides emergency feeding programs and other services that are needed now more than ever.
“We know that as many families continue to grapple with the financial impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic that every donation makes a difference, and we are proud to again partner with The Salvation Army this year to make sure those individuals receive the support they need,” said Megan L. Chuderewicz, Sales and Marketing Manager at EZ Storage.
The Salvation Army’s Annual Red Kettle Campaign supports families and individuals in need in YOUR community with:
- Utility, Rental, and Food Assistance
- Clothing and Other Basic Needs
- Free Youth and Senior Programming
“We are incredibly grateful for generous partners and donors like EZ Storage as this year, the need is greater than ever,” said Major Raphael Jackson, Divisional Commander for The Salvation Army Western PA. “The donations raised through EZ Storage will make sure families have food on their tables for their holiday meals, will ensure that a mother can heat her home for her children through the cold winter, and will help us to fulfill our mission of doing the most good.”
The Salvation Army Western PA Division provided 256,054 meals and 72,118 food boxes during the first three months of the pandemic, equal to 70% of the total meals and 50% of the total food boxes provided throughout the twelve full months of last fiscal year.
It is estimated that we will serve up to 155% more people this year with Christmas assistance: helping to put food on the table, helping to pay their bills, offering a safe place of shelter and warmth, and providing gifts and toys for children.
EZ Storage has three convenient locations in the Pittsburgh area: Greentree, Monroeville, and Ross Township. For more information, visit www.ezmini.com
