The Salvation Army Monessen Red Kettle Kickoff Popup Event, featuring DJ Galiffa and special guest Santa Claus! Commanding Officer Captain Susan Thwaite will join our special guests on the back of a double deuce truck, celebrating with music and socially distanced fun along each stop in the community.
Every participating business is collecting monetary donations for The Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign: Rescue Christmas, in addition to collecting Christmas gifts for local families in need. Together, we will Rescue Christmas for the most vulnerable!

12:45 p.m. – 1:15 p.m. Mar-Bill Diamonds and Jewelry, Belle Vernon
1:30 p.m. – 2 p.m.: Jazzy Boutique, North Belle Vernon
2:15 p.m. – 2:45 p.m.: By George, Monessen
2:50 p.m. – 3:20 p.m. –Mon Valley Independent at The Salvation Army Monessen

Many families throughout our community are facing an unprecedented number of challenges, especially financial hardships, during the COVID-19 pandemic. This year, the need is greater than ever. The Salvation Army’s Annual Red Kettle Campaign supports families and individuals in need in YOUR community with utility, rental, and food assistance, clothing and other basic needs, and free youth and senior programming.
