Run for the Roses Gala: Taking the Reins on Poverty in Beaver County
The Salvation Army Western Pennsylvania Division is proud to announce the return of the 25th annual spring gala benefiting Beaver County on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at Seven Oaks Country Club, 132 Lisbon Road, Beaver, PA 15009. This year’s gala is presented by Shell, with event sponsors Heritage Valley Health System and Rome Monument.
This year’s “Run for the Roses Gala: Taking the Reins on Poverty in Beaver County” celebrates the premier social event coinciding with the first Saturday in May. Attendees are encouraged to don their finest Derby hats, fascinators and bowties. Hosted by KDKA-TV’s Josh Taylor, the gala will be an elegant evening with live musical entertainment, a welcome reception, delicious dinner, and a live and silent auction showcasing high-end items and luxury experiences. Proceeds from the annual gala directly support essential programs and services at the Salvation Army's three Salvation Army community centers in Aliquippa, Beaver Falls and Rochester. With a combined annual budget exceeding $2.5 million, these centers rely on public support to provide critical assistance including feeding programs, rent/utility assistance and youth empowerment programs to residents throughout Beaver County. This gala not only raises vital funds but also increases public awareness of these crucial community needs.
