Save the Date: Dr. York’s 25th Annual Toy Drive with The Salvation Army
For nearly 25 years, the New Kensington communities have united to provide toys to children in need thanks to Dr. Lawrence York’s toy drive, benefiting The Salvation Army in New Kensington, Pa. Members of the community are invited to drop off new and unwrapped gifts for children of all ages during Dr. York’s 25th Annual Toy Drive on Saturday, December 7, 2024, from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. at Forza Motorcars on Leechburg Road.
The event, which has become an annual tradition, collects an estimated 700-800 toys per year. Attendees can enjoy a festive, fun-filled day with food and fellowship on site. New this year, donations can also be made online to financially support the cause: salvationarmywpa.org/newkentoys.
