Shoot for Hope Event to Raise Funds for The Salvation Army’s Pathway of Hope Program on Thursday, Aug. 19 at Seven Springs
CHAMPION, Pa. (July 29, 2021) – The Salvation Army will host a fun and outdoor fundraiser, Shoot for Hope, on Aug. 19, inviting participants to enjoy a day of breaking clays while supporting Pathway of Hope, a program striving to end generational poverty.
Pathway of Hope gives families a better chance at meeting their basic needs and helps them to navigate challenges to a better future. Case managers work intensively with families through this Salvation Army program to design a plan around meeting a family’s goals, needs and strengths.
Presented by BNY Mellon with supporting sponsors including Peoples Natural Gas, UPMC, PNC Bank, GetGo, Waldron Private Wealth, Four Buds Racing, Frost Brown Todd, LLC, and Bridges General Contractors, the outdoor event takes place rain or shine on Thursday, Aug. 19 at Seven Springs Mountain Resort.
In addition, the public is invited to bid online to win an autographed electric guitar donated by Pittsburgh Rock Legend Donnie Iris, with all proceeds benefiting The Salvation Army’s Pathway of Hope. Bids are now being accepted at https://shootforhope2021.ggo.bid and the winner will be announced at the Shoot for Hope event. Bidding closes at noon on Aug. 19th.
