The Salvation Army in Kittanning Partners with Bradigan’s Incorporated
PITTSBURGH (May 1, 2023) – Thanks to generous support from Bradigan’s Incorporated, The Salvation Army Kittanning Worship and Service Center was able to help residents in Armstrong County stay warm this past winter. In November 2022, the average price of residential heating oil was a whopping $5.77 per gallon. With costs rapidly inflating, those in our community who are living paycheck-to-paycheck and may not qualify for assistance are struggling the most. Many families and individuals in our community are faced with the difficult decision of choosing what bills to pay and if they can afford to heat their homes.
“Philanthropy is an integral part of our business and a sound investment in the community where we live and work,” Andy Bradigan, President/Owner of Bradigan’s Incorporated said. “It is a privilege to partner with The Salvation Army, an organization that has been serving those who need it most for more than a century.”
Since 1952, Bradigan’s Incorporated has been serving Armstrong County and surrounding communities by providing quality petroleum products and services. Through this most recent partnership, the generous gift from Bradigan’s Incorporated helped households in Kittanning receive heating oil throughout the season (October 2022 – March 2023).
“We would like to sincerely thank everyone at Bradigan’s Incorporated for your unwavering support of those in need each winter, especially during this time of economic uncertainty and rapidly rising costs,” Lt. Austin Oberg, Commanding Officer of The Salvation Army Kittanning Worship and Service Center said. “In our efforts to help the most people stay warm, we made sure we could assist people who had the greatest need based on their age, if they had medical concerns, or if they had young children.”
