Meals catered by Baymark Dining, catering bags provided by Panera Bread.
The holidays are a time for family and friends to gather and celebrate. Yet, for many, it is a time of isolation and loneliness. The Salvation Army in Allegheny County is proud to organize this delivery of warm meals to some of the most vulnerable members of our communities. Volunteers will package catered meals at The Salvation Army’s warehouse on 820 Parish Street, Pittsburgh, PA 15220. The Salvation Army is coordinating deliveries with property managers at housing facilities in Northside, Homewood, Mt. Lebanon, Homestead, and Blawnox.
The Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign, which supports families and individuals across 28 counties, will conclude on Christmas Eve. This annual fundraiser ensures The Salvation Army can continue its critical services including feeding programs, rent and utility assistance, seasonal assistance, youth empowerment and spiritual programs.
