November 30, 2021 (PITTSBURGH, PA) – Join us virtually on Friday, December 3, as WTAE-TV’s project Bundle-Up Telethon will start at 5:00 a.m. and end at 8:00 p.m. on WTAE-TV, Channel 4. Tune in with the whole family!

Proceeds raised will help The Salvation Army provide NEW winter outerwear to children and seniors in need throughout Western Pennsylvania.

“When Pittsburghers donate to WTAE-TV’s project Bundle-Up, they will make a big difference in the lives of our neighbors,” said Charles W. Wolfertz III, President & General Manager of WTAE Channel 4. “We are humbled by our viewers’ generosity and honored to carry this important Pittsburgh tradition.”

Cold weather has arrived, and experts are predicting another record setting year for frigid temperatures and snow, leaving vulnerable members of the community in even greater need of new winter outerwear.

“Children and seniors in Western Pennsylvania need your help in gaining access to new coats, hats, and gloves that will protect them from the cold this winter. Please help The Salvation Army and WTAE-TV to bundle them up by participating in this year’s virtual telethon. Every donation amount makes a difference!” said Major Gregory Hartshorn, Divisional Commander, The Salvation Army Western PA Division.

Viewers may donate the following ways: by calling 855-660-ARMY, by texting “BUNDLEUP” to 41444, and by visiting www.projectbundleup.org or  www.wtae.com.

Celebrating over 150 years of global service as both a church and a social service organization, The Salvation Army began in London, England in 1865. Today, it provides critical services in 132 countries worldwide. The 28-county Western Pennsylvania Division serves thousands of needy families through a wide variety of support services.
