Our mission is to serve families and individuals and provide opportunities for them to grow by integrating them into specialized, relevant programs that equip them with new learning strategies. Our aim is to empower the family or individual to think critically and to seek knowledge and truth.

Field Trips

Dr. Seuss' Birthday

Every child 12 & under who visits the Dayton Kroc Center will receive an educational surprise to celebrate Dr. Seuss’ Birthday!
(Available while supplies last.)

STEM
Grades: 3-6
Join us for a time of learning, fun, and STEM! Students will be engaged in fun activities that will introduce them to the world of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.

GED Program

Pass your General Educational Development Test and earn a high-school equivalent degree with the Dayton Kroc Center's GED program.

Homework Help

Does your child need homework help? While this is not a tutoring program, it does offer homework help to encourage academic success and provides a space for learning and technology assistance.

Golden Hour

Fall Session: September 9–December 9
Winter/Spring Session: January 27–May 5
Thursdays, 11 AM-noon

This special hour is dedicated to seniors. Visit the Tech Center for a vintage movie, crafts, virtual reality, board games, assistance with technology, and time with friends. You will receive a complimentary lunch ticket for the Kroc Cafe.

LEGO Kiddie Corner

Playing with LEGO individually or as a small group can benefit children in many ways, including teamwork, communication, mathematics, self-confidence, patience, solving problems, & more! Take-home Activities

Don't have time to participate at the Kroc? No problem, you can take activities home with you for FREE!
Tech Center Hours

Take & Make for Adults

Every month we will offer a new and exciting take-home craft you can start here at the Dayton Kroc Center and take home to finish.

Take-home Kit for Teens

Every month we will feature a new take-home craft kit or creative writing contest for teens and tweens to enter.

Take-home Coloring Pages

For national holidays, such as Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, we will have a coloring page. A prize will be given to the most creative artist. Use anything you want to make your picture stand out. Coloring pages are free. The cost to enter the coloring contest is $3.00 per person.

This week-long event is for high school students and new college students who need assistance.

Topics include:
• Cost of classes over time
• What academic probation is and how to avoid it
• Options to become a self-sufficient professional if college is not for you
• How to appear and act like a professional

Ages 12 & up.
Bring in the new year by becoming clearer about your vision for yourself and the situations around you with this scrapbooking activity.

Bible Journal Club

Cost: $20 per whole session or $2 per each meeting.

Add a Psalms Bible Journal for $20 or bring your own Bible.

STEAM Club

Ages 3–12 (ages 3-5 must be accompanied by a parent/guardian)

Kitchen Edition: January 29 & February 26
Science Edition: November 13, March 26, & April 30
Christmas Edition: December 11

Discover activities, experiments, and kitchen hacks using science, technology, engineering, art, and math! Please wear clothes that are appropriate for getting messy. We are learning!

Working with unique people and different talents is amazing. Not only because it's fun but because we're all connected for the same purpose and mission: to serve our community! Here at the Dayton Kroc Center, we serve. I love the activities for the community and see how children, elders, young people enjoy in a healthy and safe environment for all. Not only is food provided for the hunger but also food for the soul.

Being a service to others to perpetuate successful growth within our communities is what I strive to do daily both on campus and off campus. I am blessed to do what I do daily, encouraging both professionals and school aged students on the importance of utilizing the pipeline of education to gain perspective, clarity, and focus. I love working with the Dayton Kroc Center, where every day there is an opportunity to do work "as unto the Lord," Colossians 3:23.

I love working as a member of the Education Team here at The Kroc Center. When we brainstorm ideas for new and continuing Education programs, we bounce tons of ideas off each other. We create awesome programs for our members that draw from our strengths. None of us are afraid to jump in and learn more about a new topic or idea. Our focus is to make our members excited about learning new things or to engage them to perfect old skills. No matter the age we want everyone to have fun!
