Field Trips

Celebrate Reading with Dr. Seuss & Other Authors
Grades: K-2
March 6, 2026, 9:30 AM–1:30 PM
Activities include a birthday party, crafts, tech time, reading time, a guest speaker, a movie, recreation time, and lunch & dessert.

Cost: $10.00 per child

Lunch is included. One teacher/adult is free for every ten children. Additional adults may attend for $5.00 each.

Read & Feed

Read & Feed will return next summer!

Families are invited to a free story time and meal provided  by The Salvation Army. New books are read each week while lunch is served to those present.  Each family will receive a copy of the week's book.

Working with unique people and different talents is amazing. Not only because it's fun but because we're all connected for the same purpose and mission: to serve our community! Here at the Dayton Kroc Center, we serve. I love the activities for the community and see how children, elders, young people enjoy in a healthy and safe environment for all. Not only is food provided for the hunger but also food for the soul.
