About Us

Connection is the Heart of Our Program

For over 30 years, The Salvation Army Children's Services: Foster Care and Adoption Program has connected children in the Lehigh Valley and Southeast Pennsylvania with safe, caring homes to help them heal and thrive. We offer a variety of foster care and adoption services as well education and programs to help children and families overcome the impacts of trauma. In a commitment to providing outstanding support to the children and families we serve, we provide Trust-Based Relational Intervention Caregiver Training to ensure that our foster and adoptive parents are among the most skilled and knowledgeable.

As a foster parent or adoptive parent with our program, we connect with you to provide close, personalized attention from caring staff and ongoing support throughout your journey and beyond. You will always be an important part of our program’s extended family.

We serve children and families in Pennsylvania within a 50-mile radius of Allentown, PA. We have office locations in Allentown, PA and Souderton, PA, we are ranked in the top 5% of children’s service agencies monitored by the State of Pennsylvania Department of Human Services.
