Worship Opportunities

At the core of its existence, The Salvation Army is a Christian Church. Service and worship, therefore, are an important part of our presence in the communities we serve. Our local Community and Worship Centers provide various educational, recreational, social services and spiritual programs, aimed at reflecting our Christian faith and values to all those in need whom we serve.

Sunday Morning Worship

In more than 126 countries around the world, people gather together in Salvation Army chapels to worship God, celebrate the risen Lord Jesus Christ, and to be empowered by the Holy Spirit.

The Salvation Army in Fairfield County is no exception. For more than 110 years, individuals and families have gathered together to proclaim the Lord Jesus Christ in worship and to learn more about God through our Sunday School groups. Our worship services blend both old and new worship styles, and are focused upon prayer and solid biblical teaching. Everyone is welcome to attend!

Sunday School begins at 9:30 a.m. and Sunday Morning Worship begins at 11 a.m. each Sunday morning from our Lancaster Worship and Service center, located at 228 W. Hubert Ave. in Lancaster.

Christian Fellowship Activities

The Salvation Army in Fairfield County provides Christian community groups that focus on worship, fellowship and service. These programs meet at our Lancaster Worship and Service Center each Tuesday evening during the school year and all are welcome to attend.
