Lifeguards monitor the entire pool. Parents are responsible for their child.

Our water park is a family-friendly swimming environment. Please read through our Aquatics Center Rules before using the pool area. If you have any questions in particular, please contact a member of our Aquatics staff for more information.

This is not an exhaustive list; Center staff may determine what is appropriate for this area, and those in violation will be asked to leave the pool area.

  • Proper swim attire is required in all pools. Please be guided by the following:
    • ALLOWED - Bathing suit, burkini, swim trunks, jammers or speedos, swim shirts, and rash guards
    • NOT ALLOWED - Street wear, including basketball shorts, cover ups, denim and active wear (sports bras, active wear t-shirts, under armor shirts, compression tights and female tights), t-shirts or undergarments
    • Those in violation will be asked to leave the pool area
  • Swimmers are required to shower using locker room or pool deck showers prior to entering all pools
  • Swimmers age 12 and under must be accompanied and supervised by an adult (age 18+) while in the pool area at all times. At no time can the adult leave the pool deck without the child(ren) with them.
  • Swimmers age 6 and under must always be accompanied in the water (and within an arm’s reach) by an adult (age 18+).
  • For the safety of all, and without exception, no more than 2 children ages 6 and under per adult.
  • Diving, running and rough play is not allowed in the pool area.
  • Standing Or climbing on or over the pool walls is not permitted.
  • Infants must wear a swim diaper while in the pool (available for purchase at the Welcome Desk).
  • Photos or recordings (including any form of social media showing the center and other members/guests) are not allowed in the pool area unless approved in advance by Kroc Center management.
  • Opposite gender individuals (all ages) are NOT permitted in our single sex locker rooms; please use our family locker rooms, as needed
  • Food is not permitted in the Aquatics Center. Glass containers are prohibited and all drinks must be in closed containers.
  • Swim attire may not be worn outside of our pool and locker room areas. For safety reasons please do not wear wet clothing or wet shoes outside of the pool/locker room area.
  • Please refrain from wearing street shoes on our pool deck. Water shoes or shower shoes are permitted but are not required
  • Persons with signs of illness, infections or diseases (including skin rashes, sores or bandages) that may be transmitted by the pool water are prohibited (28 Pa. Code 18.53 Bather health)
  • The Lifeguard is in charge! Actions interfering with staff’s ability to provide a safe environment are cause for dismissal from the Aquatics Center and possibly the Kroc Center.
  • Swimmers ages 17 and under are required to pass a swim test prior to use and must be accompanied by an adult (18+) at all times
  • Hanging on lane lines is prohibited
  • Use of starting blocks is limited to swim team only
  • All users must be 48” or taller to ride
  • Pregnant women and those with health conditions should not use the water slide
  • Maximum slide load is 1 swimmer (300lb maximum weight). Next rider must wait at the bottom of the stairs until signaled by lifeguard to proceed.
  • Riders must exit the catch pool immediately after using the slide
  • All riders must lay on their back, feet first, with arms and legs crossed while riding; no “head first” sliding and no stopping while on slide
  • Use of hot tub is limited to those age 18 and older
  • If using your cell phone, you must use in-ear listening devices so as not to interfere with other members/guests
  • Water temperature will be kept at 100F-102F; due to the higher temperature, use of hot tub should not exceed 15 minutes
  • After 15 minutes, exit the hot tub using the steps or ladder
  • Hot tub maximum occupancy is 12 bathers
  • Use of the hot tub is prohibited by those under the influence of alcohol, narcotics, or other drugs that cause drowsiness
  • Exit the hot tub if you experience nausea or dizziness
  • Pregnant women, elderly persons, and those with health conditions (including but not limited to heart disease, diabetes, high or low blood pressure) should consult with a physician before using the hot tub
  • Do not use the hot tub if the suction fitting is missing or broken
  • All registered swimmers and chaperones must check in at our Welcome Desk before proceeding to pool area
  • A maximum of 2 non-member chaperones will be admitted, provided they arrive at the same time as the student (includes siblings and other children, regardless of age). For chaperones planning to arrive after the lesson has started, our Welcome Desk must be made aware of this at the time the student enters
  • Only active Kroc members and their paid guests are permitted to use the pools during the lessons program
  • Students without an active Kroc membership will be provided entry to the facility no more than 15 minutes prior to their scheduled lesson
