2026–2027 School Year Programs

Homework Zone

ACADEMIC SUPPORT FOR GRADES K-7 | TUESDAY - THURSDAY, 3:30 - 5:00PM

Homework Zone is a safe and supportive after-school program where students can complete their daily assignments, receive homework assistance, strengthen their reading and math skills, and build positive study habits. The program also includes a snack and academic enrichment activities designed to address learning gaps and build confidence in school.

**An active Kroc Center membership is required.

Kroc Kidz Drop-In Zone

AGES 6-12 | $15 PER WEEK |

MONDAY - FRIDAY | 5:30 - 8:00PM

The Kroc Kidz Drop-In Zone provides children with a safe and supervised environment where they can receive homework help and enjoy board games, arts and crafts, STEM challenges, reading, gym games, team-building activities, and free play while their parent or guardian enjoys the Kroc Center.

**An active Kroc Center membership is required. Parents and guardians must remain inside the Kroc Center while their child participates.

Be Your Best

GIRLS AGES 9-12

Be Your Best Girls Etiquette & Leadership Academy empowers young girls to develop confidence, leadership skills, proper etiquette, and strong character. Led by Ms. Collette, the program uses engaging lessons and activities to explore public speaking, self-care, goal setting, respect, responsibility, and community service.

Kroc Kidz Creative Arts Studio

TUESDAYS

AGES 6–8 | 5:30–6:30 PM

AGES 9–12 | 6:45–7:45 PM

Young artists will explore different materials, techniques, and styles through hands-on projects designed to encourage creativity, self-expression, and confidence. Activities may include painting, paper weaving, collage, comic-book creation, watercolor, perspective drawing, clay sculpture, printmaking, and string art.

No previous art experience is required. All creative abilities are welcome!

**An active Kroc Center membership is required.

STEM

THURSDAYS

AGES 6–8 | 5:00–6:00 PM

AGES 9–12 | 6:15–7:15 PM

Students explore science, technology, engineering, and mathematics through hands-on projects, experiments, coding activities, robotics, and team challenges. Activities such as LEGO builds, balloon rockets, bridge building, catapults, simple circuits, and the Egg Drop Challenge encourage creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving.

**An active Kroc Center membership is required.

Troops

WEDNESDAYS

AGES 5-12 | 6:00–7:00 PM

Troops is a faith-based youth ministry program that helps children grow spiritually, socially, emotionally, and physically through Christian education and hands-on learning. Participants earn badges while exploring Bible lessons, leadership, community service, teamwork, outdoor skills, and practical life skills.

*Presented in partnership with the Youth Education and Congregational Life departments. Kroc Center members and non-members are welcome.

The Loft

AGES 13 - 17 | HOURS: MONDAY - THURSDAY, 3:30 - 5:00PM

The Loft: Teen Development Program is a unique opportunity for teenagers between the ages of 13 and 17 to grow and thrive. Our program aims to support adolescents as they navigate the challenging transition into adulthood, all while incorporating Christian values and teachings. Through a variety of activities and resources, including career readiness programs, mentorship opportunities, internships, and engaging activities, teens in The Loft Program will be equipped with the tools they need to succeed to help them develop into confident and resilient young adults.
