The Recreation Center is committed to providing a lasting and meaningful impact on the health and well-being of our members, leaving them with a desire to return for more. We are cognizant that consistent recreational activity is vital to the overall development and enjoyment of personal and family life. It is our goal to promote lifelong health by offering a variety of activities for our members to enjoy such as Basketball, Pickleball, Karate, etc.
A clinic that will blend mentorship and basketball training to develop leaders on and off the court (shooting, ball handling, and footwork, strength & conditioning, plus swimming, theme days, and more fun activities.)
Open to Boys & Girls Grades 4th-8th.

Build confidence, discipline, and focus through traditional karate training. Participants will develop self-defense skills, physical fitness, and mental strength in a structured and supportive environment.
Sensei Maceo Hood earned the rank of 1st degree black belt (shodan) in 1995 as a student of Sensei John Daniel who at the time was the Technical Director of the Traditional Karate International Confederation (Shihan Ozami Ozawa’s organization). Currently, Sensei Hood is a 4th degree black belt (Yondan ) in Shotokan Karate. Maceo has 20+ years of teaching experience primarily at LaSalle University.
