As we strive to meet human needs without discrimination, we must think about the needs of our struggling families as Christmas approaches. Through our Christmas Cheer program, we help hundreds of lower-income families in our community provide gifts and a Christmas dinner celebration for their children – things that are often unattainable for those less fortunate in our communities.
We strive to provide a joyful Christmas to our children who don't understand financial hardships, and therefore don't understand why their situation looks different than that of those around them.
We have several programs that make a great impact on Christmas in our community. A quick overview is included below, but please click on each program to learn more about how we help Meet the Need in Fairfield County during Christmas!
This year, more than ever before, we’re requesting your help to Rescue Christmas, and to help sustain programs and services in 2021. Please don’t wait until the holidays are here – if we want to Rescue Christmas for our families in Fairfield County, we must act now.
