This holiday season, our neighbors are facing greater hardships than ever before. Parents, working tirelessly to make ends meet on less than $20,000 per year, find themselves unable to provide the warmth and joy of a meal on the table. For countless children across Camden County, the prospect of a bare Christmas tree dims the twinkle in their eyes. This Christmas, The Salvation Army Camden Kroc Center stands unwavering to its commitment to giving The Gift of Hope to thousands of children across South Jersey.
Having recently welcomed 2024, we would like to say a heartfelt THANK YOU for your precious gift of time as a Salvation Army volunteer! Every year we count on donors to adopt families in our community who have had a particularly difficult year. Some have faced tremendous loss, sickness, and struggle. In this program, your gifts bless the entire family (all ages) to make it an extra-special Christmas. We ask that you purchase new gifts for the family you select and bring your gifts to the Camden Kroc Center on December 14 or 15.
Get Involved this Holiday Season by giving the gift of time! We need volunteer groups and individuals for a variety of assignments including: bell-ringing, toy shop setup and help, and special event assistance.
Since the late 1890s, bell ringers have worked in all weather conditions with the famous “silver bells” to raise funds that provide comfort and joy to our neighbors who need help the most. Will you ring the bell this year and serve in this proud Christmas tradition?
