Our Southeast Region Advisory Council: Heroes Behind the Scenes!
As we continue to grow and thrive in the Souderton region, we want to take a moment to express our sincere gratitude to our dedicated Advisory Council members. Their expertise, guidance, and unwavering support have been instrumental in helping us navigate challenges and achieve our goals. We are incredibly fortunate to have such a talented and passionate group of individuals by our side.
We want to acknowledge one of our members, John Heidgerd, for his service over the past 6 years. Pastor John was integral in helping our council grow as well as secure important connections in Souderton to build relationships and grow awareness of our services. Emmanuel Lutheran Church has hosted our HALO Project for the past five years as well as our Angel Tree during the Christmas season. His late wife Ann Marie also was an integral part of supporting our mission. Thank you for your time, insight, and commitment to our mission. Your contributions have made a real difference!
We have welcomed new members this past year and look forward to continuing our journey with you and the Advisory Council as we embark on new endeavors in the community to support foster and adopted children and their families together. We are grateful for your continued leadership and excited for what lies ahead!

Our program currently has two advisory councils; one in the Southeast region and one in the Lehigh Valley region. If you know somebody who is looking to make a difference for children and families in our communities, we have openings on our councils and would love to speak with them more about joining. You can email Flo at florence.rhue@use.salvationarmy.org for more information.
