Holiday Meals and Visits

Bringing the Community Together for Thanksgiving and Christmas Day Celebrations

Holiday Meals and Visits

The Salvation Army helps bring people together for the holidays by providing a meal at The Salvation Army. These meals are open to the public. Meals are also delivered to the elderly and home-bound. Additionally, we visit nursing homes during the Christmas season to spread holiday cheer and provide meals to residents.

About Our Holiday Meals

The Salvation Army's Thanksgiving and Christmas Day dinners are special events where we open our doors to the community to share in the joy and warmth of the holiday season. We welcome anyone who wants to join us for a delicious meal and festive atmosphere. Additionally, we deliver meals to the elderly and home-bound to ensure no one misses out on the holiday spirit. We also visit nursing homes to bring meals and holiday cheer to the residents.

Thanksgiving Day Dinner:
Date: November 28th
Time: 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM
Location: The Salvation Army Center, 736 W. Main St, Lexington, KY

Christmas Day Dinner:
Date: December 25th

Volunteer Opportunities
