Seasonal Community Campaigns

Highlighting the key fundraising and community service initiatives we conduct throughout the year in FAYETTE, JESSAMINE, & SCOTT COUNTIES. These campaigns are vital to our mission of providing support and assistance to those in need within our community. Learn more about each campaign and how you can get involved.

LemonAiD Days

LemonAiD Days is a summer initiative, primarily in the month of June, where young volunteers set up lemonade stands to raise funds for local homeless children. The event empowers youth to make a positive impact while supporting essential services at our Emergency Homeless Shelter.

Red Kettle Campaign

Red Kettle Campaign is our largest annual fundraiser, running during the holiday season from November to December. Volunteers ring bells at red kettles placed throughout the community, helping to raise funds for our year-round programs, including the Emergency Shelter, Food Pantry, and more.

Angel Tree Program

Angel Tree Program, primarily active from October to December, provides new clothing and toys for children of needy families during the holiday season. Volunteers help manage Angel Tree locations, assist with gift collection, and ensure smooth distribution to make the holidays brighter for many families. We also celebrate Christmas in July to plan ahead and stock up on Christmas toys for Angel Tree tags that aren't adopted during the Angel Tree season.
