Red Kettle Campaign

Join Us in Spreading Holiday Cheer and Supporting Those in Need

Red Kettle Campaign

Our Red Kettle Campaign is our largest annual fundraiser, running during the holiday season from November to December. Volunteers ring bells at red kettles placed throughout the community, helping to raise funds for our year-round programs, including the Emergency Shelter, Food Pantry, and more. Your participation and donations are vital to the success of this campaign.

About the Red Kettle Campaign

The Red Kettle Campaign was started in 1891 by Salvation Army Captain Joseph McFee to raise funds for the poor in San Francisco. Today, it is one of the most recognizable and important charitable campaigns in the United States. The funds raised help support The Salvation Army's numerous programs and services, ensuring that we can continue to provide assistance to those in need.

How to Get Involved

1. Volunteer to ring bells at a red kettle location.
2. Make a donation at one of the red kettle locations.
3. Spread the word about the campaign to friends and family.
4. Host a virtual kettle online to raise funds.

Red Kettle Locations

Red kettles are placed at various locations, including shopping centers, malls, and local businesses throughout Fayette, Jessamine, and Scott Counties. Your donations at these locations directly support our local programs and services.
