The Boston Kroc Center A.M.P.S. (Audio, Music, Production & Storytelling) empowers youth to build creativity, confidence, and community through hands-on music and sound production. Participants collaborate to record, edit, and perform original projects, learning teamwork, communication, and artistic expression in the process. The program fosters personal growth by boosting self-esteem, developing patience, focus, and critical thinking, and encouraging emotional expression through sound. By connecting generations and showcasing their work, students gain a sense of pride, belonging, and motivation to continue exploring their creativity.
A.M.P.S. also introduces youth to STEAM-based learning, inspiring curiosity in technology, science, and the arts. Students will learn professional recording and editing techniques using studio equipment, culminating in a final showcase to celebrate their creativity and growth.
