His Toy Store Tradition:
Celebrating a remarkable 25 years, Hope for New York's annual Christmas outreach, "His Toy Store," has been a beacon of hope for families in need. This year, the focus returned to its pre-pandemic roots—raising holiday funds for on-site toy stores and other seasonal grants.
Creating Memorable Moments:
The Salvation Army, eager to contribute, dedicated itself to crafting a memorable and heartwarming experience for local families through physical Toy Shops during this holiday season. On December 22, 2023, our 14th Street and Times Square community centers buzzed with excitement as physical toy shops opened their doors.
Spreading Holiday Spirit:
The primary goal was simple yet profound—to spread the spirit of the season by allowing parents the joy of choosing toys that would light up their children's faces with happiness. Over 100 families were:
- Beneficiaries of this generosity.
- Received over 250 toys to place under their trees.
